Ok, but if you are doing something like a database-backed website, and
producing XML documents, then I'm not sure Mercury has any advantages
at all (and several obvious major disadvantages).

If, on the other hand, you have an application with a few thousand lines
of code, mainly consisting of functionality rather than linking tools
together, then there is no question Mercury is vastly better.

There is the "extras" file in the Mercury distribution.
