[m-rev.] diff: tests/hard_coded/stable_sort

This updates the style of this test case, and avoids using
obsoleted RNG predicates. (My upcoming addition of one_or_more.m
needs a test case to compare its output to list.m's output, and I went
looking for an existing test case I could steal code to construct random
lists from.)
