There are some tasks missing which I am doing. One I posted a diff for earlier
today (printing I/O actions from the debugger), and for which I am about to
post a diff (controlling retries across I/O).

There are also three I am currently working on:

- making streams identifiable from the debugger,
- getting all test cases to pass in deep profiling grades with strict
  invariant checking (I am looking at the last two test case failures), and
- getting the deep profiler tool working again.
