On quicksilver and hydra there is a directory
/home/ftp/pub/mercury
which is the ftp archive. At some point ftp.mercury pointed
to hydra. Currently it points to quicksilver. Probably this happened
when hydra's power supply went.
The one on hydra appears to have several binary distributions. The
one on quicksilver doesn't have any.
Given that there is very little disk space left on quicksilver, I would
vote to switch back to using hydra as our ftp server.
