Almost all of the .mod files have corresponding .h files.
Now is an opportunity to change both of them, since it wouldn't break
much more than just removing the .mod files. (For the ones that don't
have .h files, it doesn't make any difference, since we'll never have to 
change them anyway). Or we can wait, and do it all in one go some other
time.
