Thank you very much for writing and sharing this. I had a look at your tutorial. Nothing new to me, but it looks like just the right combination of formality and informal explanation (in chapter two). Very suitable for newbies. There's a problem with formulas in the HTML version. I get them, for instance, like this: "\(fac(0, 1) \leftarrow \top\)". In the PDF version all's neat and nice (looks very much like Latex. ;-) ) I've added your tutorial to the Mercury resources list: https://volker-wysk.de/mercury/resources.html#zetian-lins-mercury-tutorial Please announce it on this list, when you finished your book.
