[mercury-users] Deep profiler and exceptions

Hi,

The NEWS file states that "The deep profiler currently does not handle
programs that catch exceptions."

Does this mean that the deep profiler will not handle a program that
actually throws an exception within a try or try_io call, or that it will
not handle a program that includes a try or try_io call at all, regardless
of whether or not any exceptions are actually thrown during that run?
