Hi Fergus,

indeed there seems to be a problem with gcc. Compilation (gcc -c) goes fine but
later on it reports

$ gcc -o hello_world hello_world.c
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.3/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld:
cannot find -luser32
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I guess this is a problem with cygwin, but do you have any clue how it can
be solved?

Cheers,
Wim.
