The latest release-of-the-day source release should build "out-of-the-box"
on FreeBSD.

The latest release-of-the-day source release should build "out-of-the-box"
with the newer libc libraries under Linux. The Mercury ftp site also
includes binary distributions for Linux for both libc2.0 and libc2.1.

See <ftp://ftp.mercury.cs.mu.oz.au/pub/mercury/beta-releases/>.

We're planning a new release (0.9) sometime in the near future.
