[mercury-users] (Non validating) XML parser in Mercury

Can anyone save me the trouble of writing an XML parser in Mercury (or some
of the effort), or am I about to embark on a lonely journey into the
unknown...?

I've decided to use XML to pass structured data between distributed actors
in my new data analysis model.  I could always use some off-the-shelf DLL
for this, but this seems a shame as it seems a fairly natural programming
problem for Mercury.
