You claim that Mercury is about 5x faster than SICStus native mode. SICStus claims that their Fastcode is also about 5x faster than their native code. Does this mean that Mercury is about equal to SICStus fastcode on a SPARC ?? I ask because I am focused on maximum performance of a large prolog system we are prototyping. Thanks, Bill Donovan
