Yes, I used to do this, and to agonise over it.  I've been relaxed about
this lately but it's apparent that I should start doing it again.

Indeed, as with the authors whose papers you read.  There's nothing
preventing me from running the spellcheck, it has nothing to do with my
eye sight.

I've always known that I make typos and spelling errors easily.
However I think that it's been worse recently.
I think that two things have Happened.  Since finishing my thesis I've begun
to get complacent again, and in the last few weeks reading has been more of
a chore than usual.  The complacency is both 1) the larger effect, 2) the
one I can control.
