I have fixed them.

Actually, it isn't, it just looks like it because of diff -b. It suppresses
the generation of diffs which insert or remove tabs, but modified lines are
shown with their new indentation, even if the surrounding lines are shown
with their old one.

I have also removed the value numbering modules, both with "cvs remove" and
from compiler_design.html.
