By works without an issue I mean none is my best low-level C grade.  I'm now
doing a bootcheck to try and stress out the issue that README.FreeBSD
mentions with clang 3.3  I'll also give gcc a test but I'm not anticipating
any problems.

I havn't seen that before.  Some broken conditional compilation?
