Are there plans for Mercury to participate in Google Summer of Code[1]
this year?

Creating a tool like Hoogle[2] for Mercury would be an interesting and
helpful project. Perhaps sprucing up the Mercury library
documentation would be another valuable project (adding hyperlinks,
syntax highlighting, search, etc). Although those two projects might
reasonably be done together. Anyway, I'm sure the core developers
have lots of other ideas that would work for GSoC.
