[m-dev.] Build failure of mercury-extras on OS X 10.4.2

Hi,

I've built mercury successfully on OS X 10.4.2.  However, the build  
of mecury-extras
fails because certain libraries can not be found.  I've attached a  
build log.  Any quick
ideas, or is this just a bug that I will have to track down?
