[m-dev.] ravenbrook MPS garbage collector

Here´s a newly released open-source GC toolkit library:
http://www.ravenbrook.com/project/mps/

The licensing is similar to GPL (note: similar to GPL not LGPL).

It supports conservative collection (amongst other options).
I have heard that this can beat the Boehm collector in at least
some cases.  It would be great to try using this with Mercury.

I will give it a go sometime after I get back, if no-one beats me to it...
