Nothing.  But confusing object and meta in discussions
is enough of a problem to veto "...", IMHO.

We discussed a number of other options in the meeting,
including "___", "etc", "_etc", "_etc_", and "_..._".
Several of these got some support, but all of them
had at least one person saying they really didn't like it.

Then Ralph suggested using "^..." and everyone seemed to like that.
