[m-dev.] how to check for _vsnprintf

I want to check for the availability of _vsnprintf (MS likes to put _ at
the start of function names, don't ask me why) from the configure
script.

AC_HAVE_FUNCS(_vsnprintf) doens't work.

Any suggestions on how to do it?
