Change fengshui to NetBSD or Linux

People,

The OSF USR-PAK has expired on fengshui (that is, the moronic Digital
limited-user licence). This is probably a good excuse to change the
OS to something sensible (free with source).

Does anybody have:
	a) recent Linux/NetBSD CDs (with Alpha support!)?
	b) the dirt on which OS is preferable. (I suspect Linux these
	   days but someone may know better.)
	c) any objections? (BTW, none of the mounts on fengshui use
	   Digital's advfs; they're all nfs. Hence the lack of support
	   for advfs in Linux/NetBSD is not an issue.)
