- When I tried earlier this week I noticed that Mercury from unstable
did not build on Linux-x86_64. (No problem, just switched to using
Mercury from stable instead.) Was this perhaps due to your current
downsizing of the build dependencies?

- As a very thankful user of a what I only can assume is a
well-maintained package, can I help with the downsizing in any way? I
have access to Apple silicon and to Linux-x86_64 if you need someone

The contribution under discussion is that vieta maintains the Mercury
package in the nixpkgs package collection. I think Mercury's presence
in nixpkgs collection worth mentioning on the Mercury resources list.
vieta probably can provide you with a suitable wording to use for the
resources list.
