I'm sure we can link any page you want.

As for what it says on the web site regarding contributions, it's very
old and (probably) written when code hosting was hard to come by.
Also, the language obviously would be changing more earlier on,
so there would be some benefit to adding code to "extras" to keeping it
compiling. My opinion is that it doesn't make sense any more,
and we should change the text on the web site.
