[m-users.] 'help' in debugger shows nothing

There are warnings but it's easy to miss in the sea of output:

    # Warning: Unable to build mdb documentation.
    # This is probably due to a missing `makeinfo' or `info'.

(I'll try to make the improvements I mentioned next week.)
