[mercury-users] Best Mercury tutorials?

In another mailing list, someone described the Mercury documentation
as "sparse".  When I counted the pages and pointed out that there's
more than 800 pages of the stuff, and a couple of tutorials floating
around, the response was that there were elementary tutorials and
advanced manuals and nothing much in between.

For future reference, what are thought to be the best Mercury tutorials?
Is there an "Art of Mercury" book yet?
