OH-MY-GOODNESS!  Any particular reason to choose Erlang? Is this an
effort to adopt the Erlang (functionally-pure) concurrency model?

I'm currently sitting next to a coworker on my current project that
is an Erlang coder.  Will there also be an Erlang-Mercury FLI?

Any other huge surprises hiding in the ROTD?
