[mercury-users] BoehmGC: Exclusion ranges overlap

This also happens with mcurses, running the smalltest.  Here too it
seems to work perfectly when the re-definitions of malloc et. al. are
commented out.  I presume that it is a problem with the particular
BoehmGC installed on the student servers, or else a problem with the
BoehmGC on Solaris.
