[mercury-users] How efficient is mercury?

Hi everybody,

Could someone please tell me how efficient is Mercury compared to Objective 
Caml? I need to write a videogame (I will be writing some predicates in C for 
interfacing with Opengl and Qt).

PS: I have discarded Haskell and Prolog for efficiency reasons, and Clean for 
lack of documentation and poor linux support. Now I have to choose between 
Mercury and ocaml.

Thanks for any suggestion.
