[mercury-users] Irix support

Does anyone still care about the Mercury implementation's support for Irix?

There is some code in the current Mercury implementation to
efficiently support both shared and non-shared libraries on Irix.
This code is a bit tricky to maintain, and we can no longer test it,
since we don't have access to an Irix system anymore.  So I'm tempted
to just get rid of it.
