[mercury-users] posix stuff

I had a little bit of trouble with the posix select module. It
didn't seem to update the file descriptor sets which were meant
to hold its results.

The (hack and slash) patch I used to get it working is at

It's not necessarily the best way to go about it, but it's working
for me at the moment. I hope it's useful to someone.
