[mercury-users] ICFP 2000 Programming Contest

The ICFP Programming Contest (http://www.cs.cornell.edu/icfp/) 
opens this Saturday (Aug 26) at 5pm EST and runs for three days.

We have at least three people interested in competing:

	Ralph Becket  (UK)
	Tyson Dowd    (Australia)
	Peter Ross    (Belgium)

Is anybody else up for it?  Entry is by teams and registration
has to be sorted out soon.  Let me know ASAP if you're interested
and, if so, how much time you estimate you'll be able to put it
(it helps to know).

p.s. If nothing else, we should get recognition for most widely
distributed entry.
