Tyson/Anthony,

you may want to have a look at the auto-documenter for the Ciao
system, which has a rather powerful set of such documentation-oriented
annotations (see http://www.clip.dia.fi.upm.es/Software/Ciao).  One of
the formats used in Ciao seems to be very similar to the one used by
Anthony, except that 'comment' is used instead of 'doc'.  I think it
would be nice if we managed to agree on a uniform format for this sort
of thing.
