Thanks Peter,

here is a list in the order that they seem likely to be implemented.

 - structure reuse and aliasing
 - revised use of tokens such as __, :, ::, . and ==
 - promises, checked and unchecked. (admissability also?)
 - constructor classes, possibly changes to instance declarations
 - further determinism analysis (declaring [] and [_|_] to be exclusive?)
 - further mode analysis (parametric modes? polymorphic modes? eh?)

Seems like quite a hurdle, Mercury 1.0 with standard library v1 will be
quite different to Mercury 2.0 with standard library v2...
