I think that is fine, which is not surprising, since I added the commented-out
obsolete pragmas in the first place.

The one change I would make is to code that is not in the diff.
Some of the obsolete pragmas are preceded by a few lines by comments
about obsolence, and recommending a replacement. These should be
deleted after making sure that the recommended replacement is mentioned
in the pragma.
