[m-rev.] diff: fix non-contiguous clauses

This does not change existing code, just moves it around.

After this is committed, and everyone has installed compilers
with the bug fix I committed yesterday, the whole system
should be compilable with --warn-non-contiguous-clauses
and --warn-non-contiguous-foreign-procs, with just two files
being exceptions. So next weekend, I plan to switch those options on
by default in all directories, switching them off only for the
two files that don't pass. Therefore I ask everyone to install
a new compiler over the next week.
