It's version 2.6.7-5.1 Note that the gmcs compiler on my system works fine,
which belongs to the same mono version.
I'm running debian stale^H^H^H^H^Hstable, newer versions of debian have
newer packages. It'd be a good idea to update in the next few weeks.
