Alternatively, in most they cases they may actually be (and indeed, have
been) bug fixes.
(WRT this particular change, there's not a lot of point putting in on
the release branch. The deep profiling tool isn't going to work on
Windows any time soon and I don't think the 11.07 version of the auto
parallisation stuff is all that usable -- certainly all your recent
changes have *not* been committed on the 11.07 branch.)
