I was under the impression that the H in HGC was for history-based (as
the comments at the head of mercury_hgc.h say).

The changes to integrate things look okay, I haven't looked at the
collector itself.

Please be sure to bootcheck this thoroughly, i.e. in several normal
grades before committing.
