That all looks fine. 

But the part in README.Java where it says that the benchmarking module
is unimplemented is now out-of-date.

It would be nice to keep a list in README.Java of all the procedures
which are incompletely implemented in grade java.  This list should
include those two, and also any routines which depend on native code
(since those may not work in some usage scenarious).
