Another point to consider is that we might well have some support for
Visual Studio at some point in the future.  We might also want to support
other development environments, e.g. KDevelop, etc.

I suppose support for particular development environments could go in
`editors' too.  But it's a bit of a misnomer.

Unfortunately I can't think of a word that means "editors and/or development
environments".
