Oops, sorry about that -- I accidentally committed a version of that
file which had both the `hlc' changes that I posted earlier, and also
some additional changes that I'm working on to support grade `hlc.agc'.
I carefully tested my `hlc' changes by bootchecking in grades hlc and
asm_fast.gc, but forgot to re-review the diff to make sure I didn't have
any extra changes in it before committing...

Your fix is fine.
