There seems to be another file that was mentioned in the new log message
but not included in the diff:

+deep_profiler/merge.m:
+       Code for recursively merging ProcDynamic and CallSiteDynamic
+       structures. This is work in progress; eventually, it should be used
+       to canonicalize cliques (making sure that no procedure has two
+       ProcDynamics in one clique) and to merge profiling data files.
