I've developed the new pretty-printer module and I've come to the
conclusion that it isn't worth adapting the existing pprint interface
to fit.  The new printer is shorter, faster, more configurable, and does
a better job of avoiding overruns.

Would there be any objection to me adding pp to the standard library
with a note suggesting users phase out the use of pprint?
