Dear Mark,

I just finished installing the distribution of ROTD-2006-03-06
and then I attempted to read in program A, write it back out using
write_term and then compile it.  STILL have the instantiation error
because the outermost disjunctive term STILL is missing its
parentheses, messing up the variable assignment as per my example.

Did your fix go into ROTD-2006-03-06?  If so, it did not fix write_term
correctly.  If not, into which ROTD is your fix going into?
