I thought some of you might like this one...
Perhaps someone should make a collection of dubious reasons to not use
Mercury - I'm sure you have heard of others.

Hello.
I gave up on Mercury and shan't be coding STV in Mercury. I now
have Meek STV substantially translated into GNAT Ada 95
(http://www.adapower.com/ ). Mercury didn't have gotos, and that
was one doubtful area. It can be worked around, but that would
make the program unclear. It is safer to be in Ada 95. It is a
language Wichmann in UK would apparently use, and it is harder to
put bugs into them.
My Ada version of Meek STV is based on this:
