[m-dev.] MLDS back-end bootstrapped!

Using the latest bug fixes that I just committed, and with a little bit
of manual intervention to work-around a problem with the dependency
handling, I managed to bootstrap the MLDS back-end!

Last time this sort of thing happened, Harald asked me for the exact
date of birth and the weight of the new arrival, so here it is ;-)

$ ls -l /home/hg/fjh/mc.first_mlds_bootstrap
