Hmmmm. Good point... I guess it should be invoked at the end of test_mercury
(ie. after it has created the beta releases for that architecture). There
is one small (and probably ignorable problem) --- if the tests complete at
just the right time on more than one machine, things could get scrambled.
Of course, that would ``never'' happen.
