I also added Mercury to www.freshmeat.net which is a very popular Linux
announcement site.

I have a .deb package ready, but I need to test it for a bit.  It
weighs in at 10Mb which is acceptable, but only just. 

(This is nowhere near as bad as the alpha binary distribution, which is
a whopping 35Mb download).
