The Mercury Meeting

Tuesday 28 July, 5pm.

The Mercury Meeting is an open forum for Mercury developers and those
interested in Mercury to discuss recent developments and ideas. It is
held fortnightly.

The meeting includes an informal speaker or guest speaker (anywhere from
5 minutes to an hour) followed by discussion of general topics (whatever
Mercury related topics people are interested in talking about -- theory,
implementation, practical applications, etc). After this, those who are
interested (or just hungry) go out to dinner somewhere nearby.

This week's speaker is a guest speaker: Bart Demoen, who will be talking
some more about the CAT (Copying Approach to Tabling) in XSB Prolog
(this is a "follow-on" talk from Bart's Friday seminar).

The venue for this weeks meeting has yet to be decided (the previous
venue of the 3rd floor tearoom lacks an overhead projector, which Bart
will need). I will send mail when the venue has been decided, or you
can come and hang around the drinking fountain on the second floor and
follow the Mercurians as they leave their offices at 5pm ;-)

Tyson.
