Subject: Discovering Mercury!

Dear Fergus

I was pleasantly surprised to see you mention the new language
Mercury to Jan Hruza on the Goedel mailing list!

I am interested in proving properties of set-theoretic software
specifications (using OTTER for that) and also prototyping such
specifications.

I'm using Prolog and Goedel for the prototyping part, but now I am aware
of a third option!

I FTP'ed Mercury today and I was impressed by the ease of installation of
Mercury - it's smooth.

Thank you for the information.
